Seriously, like, I have a Mozilla account for syncing but holy fuck it only syncs bookmarks. I have to fucking reconfigure every goddamn setting ever time I reinstall my OS or change laptops. It would be so goddamn easy to just send some fucking JSON to a server somewhere but no, they're coming up with new logos and mascots and AI bullshit. It's 2026 and I can't sync my settings.
How do you trust that it isn't sending identifiable info to them too? Is the software open source and auditable? Is it legally enforced that every hardware uses the open source software?
I assume that it would need some kind of asymmetric encryption signature on the boolean too, and make it change all the time like OTP? Otherwise I'd think it could be intercepted and forged, right?
And how would the reader work? Everyone needs to buy a reader to beep their ID to when they want to watch porn?
For food, Weird Fruit Explorer is awesome. It's very niche, but high level he's a contortionist who loves extremely rare fruit and travels the world on a mission to try every fruit there is, the rarer and weirder the better.
Not just programming. e.g. if you create a bunch of files or folders on your computer and they're sorted by name, then if you do d/m/y they'll all be out of order. y/m/d will be in order.
But yeah, for human contexts usually day is more important.

Why not use their mobile site?

Wait what does tax exemption have to do with free speech? I have to pay taxes but I also have free speech.
They aren't mutually exclusive. Trump is obviously unspeakably worse but Biden was creepy AF.

The street addresses are displayed as City, Street Name, Street Number, State, Country.
Explain how that isn't a crime against humanity.

It's a very fun show. Sort by most watched though since not all episodes are the most interesting IMO.
Have you seen the Framework Pro?

The number of comments in this thread thinking this is a real convo that was had is troubling.
Ooh, nice! Thanks!
I love CoMaps but goddamn I don't understand some decisions they made. Like, addresses in search are displayed as
Some City, Some Road, 123, Some State, Some Country
WTF is that.
And of the four buttons on the main screen at all times, the very first one is an About page.
Maybe the keymap setting isn't correct? e.g. maybe you put it in the wrong context?
Zed has a simple disable_ai setting that turns it all off. Not sure why the fork is necessary.

I'd love to get involved, but first drop C++ for new code and use Rust.
