Gonna visit Iran someday, but it seems like a long travel. At least the most geographically close Iran from where I live would be "Irã, Paraná". 😅

Iraan is the second largest town in the second largest county in the second largest state in the United States, which is the second largest country in North America.

Just go ahead and lump them together. One set is damaging because of ignorance, the rest due to malice. Pretty much sums up trump and his followers.
Many of them were fairly close, but with 23% in the borders I wouldn't judge that most were, if I look where I think half the dots are it's starting to get quite far into Europe, Africa, India or China. Which imo should all be fairly easy to rule out, but shrug

I did get it right, though uh thank you to reporting from ukraine for your news tied to map animations.
