As someone with over 200 hours in graveyard keeper, I have a tip for new players.
Make sure you buy the blue and white stone from the innkeeper, it's a rechargeable teleport item that allows you to instantly navigate most of the map every 30 seconds or so; the game will never tell you this, and i only bothered to get it long after it would have been of any use before I realised what it was. Hope this helps someone
It can be grindy but it isn't that bad when you know where to get things. I think what handicaps this game though from a wider audience is that this game really does not hold your hand for crafting things and in-game systems. It really wants you to experiment yourself and figure out what is most efficient.
The quest system as well has very little direction at what to do sometimes and it being heavily interconnected makes encountering a random roadblock very frequent, which many people probably get frustrated at when they are used to modern games and quest structures.
I got around 10 hours in, but felt the resource gathering became a bit slow and tedious. Generally liked the rest of the game, maybe theres some mods to look at?

i played this game hard for a while, but there were so many CTD progress reverting bugs that it finally killed my enthusiasm for it.
Drusas@fedia.io · 2 pts · 134d
CTD?
Senal@programming.dev · 4 pts · 134d
Yeah my bad, crash to desktop, or in the case of the switch, crash to homescreen

I really like this game, but it's possible to get stuck if you don't do/get/use things in the right order.
