Saw a bro stealing food? No the fuck you didn't.

felsiq@piefed.zip · 17 pts · 92d

Never been a clearer way to show ACAB

He looks like he earned them

QuantumSparkles@sh.itjust.works · 5 pts · 91d (1 reply)

Why would you apprehend him, did someone want those back?

DrBob@lemmy.ca · 1 pts · 91d

Just a cheap way to boost arrest numbers at the expense of the cutest.

Ulvain@sh.itjust.works · 13 pts · 92d

ALLEGEDLY stolen hot dogs.

MeatPilot@sh.itjust.works · 10 pts · 92d (5 replies)

I'm going to search "Fox with mouthful of hotdogs" to read more about this.

WhyIHateTheInternet@lemmy.world · 9 pts · 92d (2 replies)

You need to search up "Fox with several weiners in mouth" to get actual results just FYI

wieson@feddit.org · 2 pts · 91d (1 reply)

Wiener like the city Wien, the same order of ie as in the English name Vienna

WhyIHateTheInternet@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 91d

I voice typed it not sure why it spelled it that way

Try cougar too

FloatingAlong@lemmy.world · 9 pts · 91d

What is the charge? Eating a meal? A succulent hot dog meal?

FoxyFerengi@startrek.website · 9 pts · 92d

The fox can have some hot dogs, as a treat

edgemaster72@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 92d

Maybe he bought them, maybe they were a gift, we don't fucking know, and frankly it's pretty irresponsible to just throw these sorts of unproven allegations around

testaccount789@sh.itjust.works · 6 pts · 92d (6 replies)

How come, right after seeing this post, I open YouTube and get this:

How?

BradleyUffner@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 92d

Cause it just happened and cute animal stories are super popular.

zikzak025@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 92d (2 replies)

Seems like it's just coincidence because it's a recent meme.

Could also be Google has you in a filter bubble based on browser/device fingerprint and history, but that seems a lot less likely than just the coicidence of this image of a fox with a mouthful of hotdogs blowing up various parts of the internet within the past few hours.

DrBob@lemmy.ca · 1 pts · 92d (1 reply)

Is it a meme? I screenshot it from a news story about Carney and electricity.

zikzak025@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 92d

When I looked it up, most of the results that I saw were only a few hours old.

This appears to have been shared by CTV yesterday: https://www.ctvnews.ca/toronto/video/2026/05/13/alberta-mounties-apprehend-fox-with-stolen-hot-dogs/

DrBob@lemmy.ca · 2 pts · 92d (1 reply)

It's foxes all the way down.

testaccount789@sh.itjust.works · 3 pts · 92d

Oh yeah, I use Firefox, that checks out.

FosterMolasses@leminal.space · 6 pts · 92d (1 reply)

This is demmmocracy manifest!

Ugh@sh.itjust.works · 3 pts · 92d

What was his crime!? Having a meal? A succulent hotdog meal!?

aesthelete@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 91d

"stolen"

tigeruppercut@lemmy.zip · 5 pts · 92d

I like how they specified stolen. Like what's the alternative, he was filling his own hot dog casings with field mice he had in cold storage?

BigDanishGuy@sh.itjust.works · 4 pts · 91d

Where did it get the hotdogs? Judging by its expression, the same truck stop where it got meth for a blowjob.

iamericandre@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 92d

It was the perfect crime
