Couldn't tell ya myself, I can't read this. The ants this image is for can prolly weigh in, though!

Do you have the source for this? Great chart!

Fuckswearwords@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 5d (1 reply)

It's from a British magazine called Country Life. Edition was march 2 2016.

Cool, thanks!

Heresy! Madness! Jaffa Cakes do not belong on this list!

LadyButterfly@reddthat.com · 1 pts · 10h

It is very controversial

DarrinBrunner@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 5d

Being a filthy Yank, I can only go by the descriptions.

In order of like:

Hobnob oats

Ginger Nut

Jaffa cake orange and chocolate

Coconut Nice

I've always liked crunchy oatmeal cookies, er... biscuits the best.

MrsDoyle@sh.itjust.works · 3 pts · 4d

None of the above. Where's the shortbread? The oatcake? The Abernethy? Tsk.

Off to eat another caramel wafer.

Jammie dodgers. The absolute best with Yorkshire gold.

I was obsessed with the Fox's Crunch Creams a few years back (probably more than I care to remember), haven't had them for years though.

Current favourites from the list are the Viennese and the Jammy Dodger.

Rich Tea. Simple but effective.

Onomatopoeia@lemmy.cafe · 2 pts · 5d

Yes.

AllNewTypeFace@leminal.space · 2 pts · 5d

Ginger nut

garibaldi_biscuit@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 4d

Which one could it possibly be?

Hansae@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 1 pts · 5d

Hobnob or a custard cream.

cannedtuna@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 5d

Yo those pink wafers were a childhood favorite. Definitely kept on hand by my grandma.

RealisticBroccoli@piefed.social · 1 pts · 5d

whichever contains the most amount of butter...

Kobibi@sh.itjust.works · 1 pts · 5d

I love the digestives with chocolate chips in them

ambitiousslab@feddit.uk · 1 pts · 5d (2 replies)

For me, it's the Jaffa Cake followed by the Chocolate Bourbon, followed by the Ginger Nut.

Hobnob and Jammie Dodgers are honourable mentions.

I've never had Garibaldi, but it looks good from here :)

Ginger Nuts were my Grandma's biscuit of choice. I think my Grandad had those polar bear mints instead of biscuits (yuck!) Very fond memories of both though :)

Deebster@infosec.pub · 2 pts · 5d (1 reply)

As kids, we called garibaldis "squashed fly biscuits". The dryness of the biscuit goes very well with the pop of raisin.

LadyButterfly@reddthat.com · 1 pts · 10h

I find them inedible without a cup of tea

Digestive_Biscuit@feddit.uk · 1 pts · 3d

Digestive biscuits of course.
