Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon (né Yaxley; born 27 November 1982), better known as Tommy Robinson, is a British far-right, anti-Islam activist. Described as "one of [the] UK's most prominent far-right activists",[1] he co-founded the English Defence League (EDL), serving as its leader from 2009 to 2013.
Before the EDL, Robinson was a member of the British National Party (BNP), a British fascist political party, from 2004 to 2005. For a short time in 2012, he was joint vice-chairman of the British Freedom Party (BFP). In 2015, after leaving the EDL, he became involved with the development of Pegida UK, a now-defunct British chapter of the German Pegida. From 2017 to 2018, he wrote and appeared in videos on the Canadian website Rebel News. In 2018, he also served as a political advisor to Gerard Batten, then the leader of the UK Independence Party (UKIP).
Robinson is also known for creating self-produced videos presented in a documentary format, on topics including the grooming gangs scandal. Some of these videos have been found in court to include defamatory false statements about their subjects.[2][3][4]
Robinson has criminal convictions[5] for assault,[6] threats,[7] harassment,[8] and fraud,[5] as well as contempt of court rulings relating to his videos, and served five prison terms between 2005 and 2025. In June 2022, Robinson said that he lost £100,000 in gambling before declaring bankruptcy in March 2021. He also said he owed an estimated £160,000 to HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC). In August 2024, The Times said that he owed in the region of £2 million to his creditors, and was the subject of a HMRC investigation over unpaid taxes.
Lol it's neither, it's own insult. I'm not even sure if it's meant to literally refer to the hole of a dick, but probably is. It's just one of many insults you can use to refer to someone you don't like.
I started reading an article somewhere about how he's getting funded and raking it in. He's a conman. I'm sure he's getting funded by Russia also given his recent visits there.
The beauty of him hiding his real name is that all of his great mates who come to his rallies will be looking for Irish immigrants once they’re done with the brown ones.
One can only hope that he'd go back to busking. But he's got 400mil in his account and close friends with the Epstein class. He's set for life but still a spineless shit weasel
No, it is just a fascist scoring cheap points in the powerplay they like so much. It is like when Putin criticises US human rights violations (or vice versa, although that doesn't happen much these days). Imagine the trollface emoji when reading their statements about these kinds of things, because that is the kind of intent they are being stated with.
kraft banned him , then got all the other stadium owners to blacklist macklemore. Ed shareen had to throw up under the bus to keep good graces with kraft, whom is also in the files. also ED has remaining completely silent on the matter, not uttering a word for or against macklemore. So this tells you shareen really wants continued gigs from kraft.
Billionaires do what they do, we don't expect monsters to change their spots. Ed had a choice to make and he chose to stand with money instead of justice. Even if he risked being sued, that's still just money. Everyone left him proving he wasn't supporting his staff. It was just him, siding with money.
I cannot honestly blame Ed Sheeran for what happened in that case. It might have been a better look for Ed if he canceled those venues himself, but then he would have pissed off the fans. No winning for him either way in this situation.
Note that these venues had no problem with Kanye's "Heil Hitler" song.
Ed Sheeran should have taken a stand for Macklemore and let the venues cancel his performance there. He can probably sue them for damages and find other venues to perform. Instead, he bent over for fascism.
He could 100% have hit a "Free Palestine" of his own, and if the venues cancel, they're the assholes. His mealy mouthed both sides nonsense is whats fucking him up now.
You really think any venue would hold their ground if a huge earner like Sheeran told them to go fuck themselves? They'd fold like wet paper the second they thought the prospect of losing his ticket sales became even slightly likely. If, by some miracle they did, Sheeran could sell out any venue he decided to go to instead. He had the power, but willingly bent over a barrel and spread 'em
Ed didn't even need to cancel anything. He could've said that he wasn't going to drop Macklemore and the venues would then have to breach their own contract with him. He would've still gotten paid out and then some for breach of contract! But he decided to be complicit.
The production company dropped Macklemore, Ed did not have a contract with Macklemore. Ed didn't cause any of this, he just didn't speak up when he should have.
Production company? That's not right and that's never been mentioned.
It's the several managements of the venues that colluded together to give Ed Sheeran an ultimatum which was that he either tells Macklemore that he's dropped or they won't host the show anymore (which includes Ed).
To add insult to injury, the venues used Ed to pass the message on to his friend, Macklemore. So obviously taking a side against his own friend by saying "hey, sorry, they decided to drop you from the show or we're both dropped".
So in more ways than one, Ed made the decision to drop Macklemore from his tour to ensure that he could continue touring.
