should artificially not be able to install the latest version of macOS

There's no artificial reason. The OS was a complete architecture change when they went to Apple Silicon. From x86 to ARM. The newer versions of MacOS are completely incompatible with x86 architecture.

The grey market isn’t that much cheaper. The telehealth companies are so ridiculously cheap today. And those are not the grey market.

You can get semaglutide for less than $70 a month all in, which is cheaper than what you’ll get on the grey market when you factor in all the consumables you also have to buy like bacteriostatic water to compound it yourself, needles, alcohol pads, etc.

GLP1s are cheap and easy to get. Cheaper than what you save from eating less food when you're on them, and you can get them easily online from the myriad of telehealth companies.

That's not what this article is about though. This article is about people specifically jumping to the grey market to get retatrutide because they want more progress than they're getting on the legal GLP-1s.

Never thought you need a permission to record other people at your own home, but it does make some sense.

Well, the issue is that it was his spouse's home too, and she has the same reasonable expectation of privacy within her own home as well.

The problem is that he recorded her without her consent, in an area where she would have an expectation of privacy.

They both got hit for their actions. He was awarded NT$500,000 in the divorce, and would be fined NT$150,000 for his part in the illegal recording. He'd still come out about $11,000USD ahead if he just paid the fine lol.

That’s not how net worth works…

If you have a mortgage, that offsets it and your net worth would only include the equity you hold.

What? The US has zero problem refining it. Most US refineries, particularly in the Gulf, are actually set up for heavy sour crude like Venezuelan.

That's kind of the issue. The US mostly produces light sweet crude, but our refineries are mostly set up for sour crude. So, while we are a net oil exporter, we have to import most of our oil to actually refine it because we aren't set up to refine our own production.

This "deal" is explicitly a gift to US refineries who are going to make unfathomable fortunes from it. He is trying to keep them on his side to throw their weight around for midterms and beyond.

To be fair, it wasn't Callaway directly. It was Good Good Golf, a golf youtube channel, that aired the ad. Callaway had a partnership with them to cobrand the golf club, but dropped Good Good immediately after the ad and canceled the branded club.

Callaway still deserves the backlash from associating with them though and apparently someone giving the ok for the ad.
