The RDA is a maximum, not the minimum needed. You will be perfectly healthy on 200-500mg a day. Eat whole grains, meat (or dairy), fruit, and vegetables and you’ll get more than enough

Only if you’re vegan will you likely have to give it some thought, and then it’ll be enough to eat processed meat substitutes or just add a pinch of salt when you’re cooking

Reaper. Technically not free, but you get 2 months fully-functional for free and, after the trial ends…it remains fully-functional just with a nag screen that you dismiss with one click

It doesn’t look fancy and there’s a bit of a learning curve, but it’s incredibly powerful and when you feel guilty enough to pay it’s also incredibly cheap (and a one-time purchase)

There’s an old riddle - How is a mouse when it spins?

::: spoiler Tap for spoiler The higher the fewer :::

It’s not been confirmed, but it is believed that the weights of a governor was known as a mouse, and so it means that the higher they get, the further out the balls are, and so the fewer rotations they make

In Doctor who spin-off media there exists a voodoo time-travelling cult called faction paradox. They wear bones and skulls. To obtain these they find a species, hunt them, then go back in time and prevent that species from ever having existed in the first place

So they’re wearing the real bones of creatures who never evolved and never existed

That’s pretty cool

FWIW, showrunner Charlie Brooker says that the starting point for every episode is finding an idea he thinks is funny

It already exists. There are businesses whose model is that they rent out vram that you can offload tasks to

And for a couple of years now tech companies have been talking shout how cool it would be for computers to be just portals with all the processing power being online somewhere (as a subscription model)

I don’t think Gary Chess, the inventor of chess, is that active in the scene any more. Not for a decade, I don’t think

using Marx's language will get you ignored at best by a lot of people.

Marx didn’t use the term “late-stage capitalism”. Nor even “late capitalism” which, at least has a proper definition and some theory behind it. “Late-stage capitalism” is an undefined internet term from the last 10-15 years

Certainly not “Marx’s language”
