I've had mine for a few weeks now and have experienced a few issues.

Mostly with game performance after it goes to sleep. Not sure why. Doom eternal was struggling at 45fps, but then I rebooted it and was getting 200fps in the same area on the same settings. It's made much worse if my son was playing a game and put it to sleep while the game was open. Even switching profiles doesn't improve it.

It gets stuck in a loop sometimes as well with CEC, I ended up turning it all off.

Sometimes it wakes itself up after going to sleep via the power menu, but if I let it wait 30 min it sleeps on its own no problem.

But other than that I love it. It's such a great device and it has pretty good performance for its power usage.

I have just started rebooting the machine after I wake it if I know the kids were using it.

My entire rare achievement showcase on steam is northgard and songs of conquest achievements. 0.1% for about 6 of them.

If the order is more granular that the pop up displays, Stoat master is the actual rarest.

Not sure why, it's a good clan!

I love mine. My kids have got a ton of value out of it and I enjoy it as well. I have some issues with the CEC and my sound bar just putting my tv in a loop when it sleeps, but I just turned those features off for now. Also sometimes when it resumes from sleep the performance is awful until I reboot it. Also the CEC settings don't apply to my kids profiles and they aren't allowed to adjust them so it's all a bit strange. But I'm sure some of the bugs will get resolved with software updates soon enough. Its a bit worse than my desktop PC performance wise but for 30W of power usage I don't care!

I feel like more advanced systems that could learn new tactics or say more context appropriate things would be cool, but that's about as far as I would go for wanting it in the game. It's not taking work from people or stealing assets.

Ryzen 7 5800X and an RX6800 has been great. I've been team red for a long time and currently use endeavourOS without issues on it. I absolutely bought the steam machine as a console for me and my kids to share and it's doing that perfectly. I plan on not making any changes to the steam machine either, my steam decks are both stock as well.

Honestly I think the biggest thing my PC has going for it is 16Gb of VRAM and 32GB of ram but it's DDR4 so it's probably not even as fast as the ram in the steam machine.

Either way a great purchase and I look forward to using the heck out of it.

Its about 20% worse than my desktop on cyberpunk 2077 on ultra (no RT) at 1080p. My desktop though is an ultrawide monitor at 3440x1440 and running it at that evens it out a bit. Ultimately its going to be about equal though because the HDMI cable I have running to my tv caps out at 1080p 60Hz which looks perfectly fine on my TV and most of the games I play are not nearly as demanding as cyberpunk 2077.

The fact it uses 30W of power and is just about as good as my desktop which uses WAY more speaks volumes to how much more efficient tech has gotten in the 6+ years since built the latest iteration of my PC.
