Bolt thrower, animals as leaders, suffocation, suicidal tendencies, alien weaponry, bloodywood, the hu, ningen isu, Boris, arch enemy, e-an-na, eluveitie, frozen crown, windhand, plus a ton of other folk/power/symphonic metal bands and quite a few chicks in the stoner/doom scene.

Lots of choice in the Japanese scene: Lovebites, Nemophila, Hanabie, Broken by the Scream, Neon Oni, 88kasyo junrei, Maximum the Hormone.

Other non-western bands: Myrath, Bloodywood, Asterism, Dead Pioneers.

Western bands: Arch Enemy, The Agonist, Epica, Within Temptation, Eths, Blue Medusa, Melissa Bonny, Wargasm (UK), Die Spitz, Scene Queen, Lambrini Girls.

Also, Dragonforce now has two female band members and one from Hong Kong.

If you search the internet for terms like "female fronted metal" and "African metal" you'll find lots of bands.

Also, Youtube is really good for discovering bands like this because the thumbnails will often show you the band members. Just look up a niche band and start clicking all the recommendations.

There's an odd subgenre of 'women-fronted doom/stoner band clearly inspired by Sabbath'. Aside from Castle Rat, check out Druidess and Hail Darkness.

Try also: Theatre of Tragedy, Lacrimosa's ‘Not Every Pain Hurts’ (unfortunately rare in their oeuvre), UneXpect's ‘In a Flesh Aquarium’, Funeral, Haggard and perhaps Garmarna. And of course Babymetal.
