That chart is not about "AI smart glasses" (the ones with cameras and such), but about actual glass that has some "smart" functionality inside. Such as dimming or going opaque on command. So kinda relevant to this discussion.
It seems to me that it's not proximity chat in the "traditional" sense, so as to get quieter the further away you are, but instead modifying the voice. Which could be kinda fun, if it's not too aggressive (and the distance where it starts isn't too small)
Or donate it for good causes. Honestly spending a billion dollars (let alone 7) is really hard, if you're not buying companies or land. It's just that an obscene amount of money.
Even more! In the EU it has to be marked/identified as AI generated, if you publish it anywhere (not that it's enforced much yet, but competitors might/will sue if it's used in a company setting).
I think this should be adopted world wide (although fat chance, I know)..
Yeah a real shame with channels like smarter everyday. Although for some there may be a way back the way things are going in the US, if they have at least a little bit of empathy and intelligence that is.
But more poor people means more mindless consumers, which means more profits. And if we know one thing, it's that what the ultra rich want most, is be more rich. They are hoarders after all. And they couldn't concentrate more wealth onto them, if there's no one to take wealth away from. Or maybe that's hypothetical doesn't really work ;)
"I have sent help to put out that fire in your kitchen"
"Have you really? I don't think there is anyone coming!"
"I'm sorry you are right. This was meant to keep you calm. I don't have the capability to send help."
Did a back-of-the-envelope calculation.. these panels look too be about 40x40cm. With solar having a typical peak power of about 200W per m² you'd need about 300 of them for a 10KW peak home solar array (then you'd also need to hook up all the 300 batteries to have power through the night and not live in the US, where houses typically use way more power). Hypothetically of course..
This can absolutely also happen in a place like Germany. Yes, no one really has a truck for personal use (or rather a box truck), but you know a guy who knows a guy that has a truck for his business and doesn't need it on the weekend, et voila. Maybe it's not that extreme, but especially for 'poorer' working class people, helping out is still essential even in Germany.
I dunno. Probably lots of lead poisoning, micro plastics crossing the blood-brain-barrier, other harmful stuff in our city-atmospheres and of course social media (for "old" folks facebook, for young people Instagram and tiktok). All of has fried our collective brains and tendencies for what you described increase because of it. But maybe that's just an excuse to ascribe what's wrong with people to something external.

But a small 100g drone can carry quite a bit of high tensile strength string... Let's see the big drone fly without it's propellers.
Ah, so that's why they're called cock-tails...
Oof okay, I didn't watch the video. That's not far enough at all.

You inverted your balls?

This definitely needs the belter version "highway star" as background music.
Honestly, a crossover between Project: Hail Mary and X4: Foundations would be rad!
Someone has to pay for all that Microslop copilot bs and it's just not enough with the intended customers

Why would they want so few people to oppress and exploit?
Could actually be a side effect of more "video games" as tend spend less time outside in the sun, the skin ages a lot less from sun damage...
Only if you put the bag of dicks on a street near him, it seems
