Thank you.

I know albatross are big, but I can't stop seeing it as an abnormally small man petting an abnormally well-behaved seagull.
Zerush@lemmy.ml · 1 pts · 1y
Wingspans of >3,5m and bodies > 1m. https://www.treehugger.com/albatross-facts-5073421

can@sh.itjust.works · 36 pts · 1y
Looks mutual
AngryishHumanoid@lemmy.world · 21 pts · 1y
Oh well that's ok then.
tiramichu@sh.itjust.works · 31 pts · 1y
God literally used the scale-up tool on a seagull. I guess it was a Friday afternoon in the animal design bureau.

Don't do it man!

You've earned me chip, big fella
lath@lemmy.world · 18 pts · 1y
When their pecker is bigger than your 'pecker'...
LovableSidekick@lemmy.world · 18 pts · 1y
Never let a bird with a beak that size get it that close to your junk.

Indeed, in a little maids dress and apron, selling an albatross during the movie intermission.

If risky to put dick in mouth, why make it friend sized?

I was think of this! How the fuck did he hang that from his neck??
Sergio@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 1y
Yeah, I didn't realize that when I first heard it. I guess that's why it's a punishment. If they just hung a tiny parakeet off his neck, it wouldn't be much of a punishment.
taiyang@lemmy.world · 9 pts · 1y
That's the expression of a man who just had a random naked encounter with an albatross. It's a mix of befuddlement and wonder.
Lumidaub@feddit.org · 9 pts · 1y
That dinosaur is about to eat that 8 year old boy, is nobody doing anything?!
MelodiousFunk@slrpnk.net · 9 pts · 1y

Watch conservationists weigh & feed an underweight chick (not yet fledged, not too happy).
Psythik@lemm.ee · 3 pts · 1y
Underweight my ass. Poor bird is so fat and out of shape that it couldn't even attempt to flee... :(
lmmarsano@lemmynsfw.com · 7 pts · 1y
It's a chick: they just waddle, play with hay, and do flappies while waiting for their parents to occasionally feed them. Albatross chicks are huge.
Psythik@lemm.ee · 6 pts · 1y
Quit ruining my narrative with your facts and logic!
Widdershins@lemmy.world · 7 pts · 1y
At that size it gets difficult to imagine having one hung from your neck.

JamesBoeing737MAX@sopuli.xyz · 2 pts · 1y
Hm, how tall is the person? I mean people's size varies. You can be under a meter or 2m 10.

i just realized the only way for me to actually comprehend their size is to think of them as glide-flying swans
