The man hit by Danielsson was identified as Seppo Seluska, a militant from the Nordic Realm Party later convicted for the torture and murder of a gay Jew.
:-(
I guess handbags aren't quite enough to stop these bastards.
I'd prefer that she'd used something a little heavier, like a brick or a pipe (probably weren't readily available, I understand), but I strongly agree.
It could, true. There's just something about metal pipes specifically, they just seem to have the ability (in my mind) to absolutely fuck someone up. Maybe it's the better swing? The range? The fact that I took out a whole building with one in New Vegas? No idea.
If the photo’s being taken for use in newspapers and it’s going to be printed in black and white, might as well just take the photo in black and white since the film’s cheaper

That bag could have a dozen cans of cat food in it

Good form, keeping distance to prevent immediate retaliation. 10/10

Is she part of that antifa group I keep hearing about? The Trump regime knows how to deal with her type.

Maybe the most famous and iconic Swedish photograph of all time? An inspiration to us all.

Are we sure this was 1985? I've seen this photo before, and was told it was during the 1940s.
I honestly have no way of knowing which is true.

Neonazis in 1940?
Lost_My_Mind@lemmy.world · -3 pts · 320d
I said I saw the photo, not the title. If the date in the title were incorrect, would it be that out of the question that a word is also incorrect?
NoForwardslashS@sopuli.xyz · 10 pts · 320d
Swedes so ahead of the curve their regular 40s Nazis already had 80s fashion and skinheads.
__nobodynowhere@sh.itjust.works · 5 pts · 320d
Because they are dressed as neonazis which is clearly shown in the photo.

Perhaps you should also read the title.

Does it look like a car or clothes from the 40‘s ?
Valmond@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 320d
It's just outside my then (some 5 years later) favourite café Brokvists. So I can say that yes it's from the eighties.
pelespirit@sh.itjust.works · 1 pts · 320d
Wikipedia says it was 1985. I'm not sure why it's in b&w, since there was definitely color in the 80s.

Black and white provided the highest contrast for the lowest cost.

This is probably the correct answer.
