It was approved in the US about 9 years ago. It takes time for it to then become available. Regardless, it didn't become available for weight loss until 2021, and there were shortages of it so it was not widely available.
The Tir Tairngire timeline is heavily inspired by Israel's creation. Russian troops are nicknamed orcs in eastern Europe, and cybernetics are there, complete with companies led by nazi billionaires. Drug-addicted mercenaries use drones and hackers in various war zones that you never heard about unless you connect to the sites runners use. Meanwhile, your cyber girlfriend is actually a slave bought by Myanmar mafia to scam people
The year is 2026, you know where your meatbody is, but not sure who it belongs to anymore.
As long as they give the natives back more land and control in this country, I'll gladly accept if this were to happen. Hell, I'd even try my best to learn Danish.
Edit:
I'd also be more than fine if Hawaii was given back to the native Hawaiians as well. As in they start off by basically having an actual functioning 1 country 2 systems set up for a while until they're ready to decouple from us.

Here I was thinking this meme was proposing dividing the US into two different countries. Which also works pretty well.

So one could live in Springfield, American Overseas Territories, Kingdom of Denmark.
Sounds grandiloquent.
And once again DK colonizes a place full of ICE

If America becomes a Danish territory and they don't call it Vinland I will be very disappointed
::: spoiler spoiler yes I know Vinland was actually in modern-day Canada :::

I'm not sure, but the same thing happens on the islands in the Pacific

Gotta have a layer of blubber to keep warm.
Also it seems to me there's more obesity in rural areas. People taking transit walk a bit more than people that drive a car everywhere I guess.
Drusas@fedia.io · 2 pts · 239d
The US isn't even in the top ten most obese countries.

Thanks to Ozempic by Danish company Novo Nordisk.
About 12% of the American population use it.
That's roughly 40 million Americans being dependent on the goodwill of a country that Trump is threatening to attack with military..

You realize that hasn't been out long, right? The studies were performed before that was made available to the public.

It's been on the market for about 9 years.

Problem is if you add too many crazy people to a sane country the crazies just take over everything. So this would have to happen gradually.
