UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world · 14 pts · 33d (3 replies)

Red Lobster had you one step closer to living in the pod. We needed to kill it.

ramble81@lemmy.zip · 9 pts · 33d (2 replies)

If ground bugs were just as tasty I’d eat them too.

SpruceBringsteen@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 33d

They are, you're just not out trying them.

Semi_Hemi_Demigod@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 33d

The main problem is that they can’t get as big on land so there’s not much meat on the exoskeleton.

bountygiver@lemmy.ml · 3 pts · 32d

ya if a cook successfully prepares other bugs in an appetizing way and actually is tasty, people will eat it.

5ha99y@lemmus.org · 3 pts · 32d

Yes, I don't care, if mealworms are related to shrimp. They are still delicious!

stretch2m@infosec.pub · 15 pts · 32d

Inside bug = goo. Inside shrimp = tasty meat These are not the same.

BarnWolf@lemmy.world · 14 pts · 33d (7 replies)

What about da crawfish?

secher@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 33d

Same. Lots of legs, detritus feeders, and an exoskeleton? Bugs. Shrimp, lobster, crayfish, crabs; all bugs.

mabeledo@lemmy.world · 14 pts · 33d

Delicious, delicious bugs.

sheogorath@lemmy.world · 13 pts · 32d (1 reply)

This is true, I ate fried grasshoppers once and it tasted so much like shrimps I ate handfuls of them.

lyrial@anarchist.nexus · 8 pts · 32d (1 reply)

I've seen this as a meme a fee times now, but what is the context? I'm obsessed with her black block and how it has cat ears lol. They are both incredibly ripped as well.

titanicx@lemmy.zip · 1 pts · 31d

You don't see the news much do you. These two just climbed to the very top of the empire State building and attached a flag that promoted peace this past week. Her black block? Maybe you are talking about her mask? It has cat ears because she wore one that has cat ears? Not sure what to tell you about that. They are ripped because they do things like work out, and climb hard shit. Things that both require, and develop muscles.

Ydna@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 32d

We fight a war against them; we won, let them never forget!

AllNewTypeFace@leminal.space · 5 pts · 33d (1 reply)

“bug” is a folksonomy that generally means anything that ought to be a bug, including insects, spiders and lobsters. It has no meaning other than vibes, so whether a shrimp is a bug depends on whether it feels like one to whoever’s making the call.

HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world · 0 pts · 32d

You forgot bats

MissesAutumnRains@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 4 pts · 33d

Been saying this for years. I don't eat bugs just because they came from the sea and are expensive.

LodeMike@lemmy.today · 4 pts · 32d (4 replies)

Who are these two? Was this a recent event?

MissyBee@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 11 pts · 32d (3 replies)

Climbed the empire state building and on the flag something along love beats hate/wars

LodeMike@lemmy.today · 2 pts · 32d (2 replies)
