I'm not looking forward to the national week of mourning in Federal buildings though. Friggen post offices and whatnot will be forced to put shrines out. 😒😒

You might not be so anxious if you used a password manager

I teach an OSHA safety course and they have a statistic that 80% of workplace injuries are caused by slipping/tripping or ladders. There's an entire chapter devoted to HOW to use all the myriad types of ladders safely.... it's actually pretty amazing that such a dangerous tool is sooooo common in everyday life. Injuries related to cuts from saws etc are kinda common but those are rarely life-threatening... falling from elevated height will wreck you!

Pages and pages of identical junk. And for anything of actual value (electronics etc) you also run the risk of getting an open box return yet you pay full price. At this point it's a useless store unless you're buying some kind of commodity item.

It spikes up to 300-400 watts while in use, sometimes a little more if playing around with the actuators at the same time. The model I have is Alpha UX Pearl for reference.

I have mine on a smart plug to monitor it (Emporia). It uses about 3 kilowatts per week. For reference the whole house uses about 100 kwh per week. The cost to operate is similar to my dishwasher.... bidet gets more uses but much shorter durations. The heating element must be really small because that's not much power. It might vary between manufacturers tho.

I've been scheming to install panels on my garage roof for a year or so. My biggest hurtle is needing to make space for an inverter next to the circuit panel, but first my hot water tank is installed too close to the panel so it can't pass an inspection until I move it. Which means a ton of new plumbing before u even get to the new stuff. Ugggh

The GI bill also effectively pays you to take classes. The money is designed to be used for housing but it's distributed as cash into your bank account. If you fail a class, you can re-take it as needed (though eventually this counts against you for academic reasons). They really pull out all the stops.

Big agree. After season 4 they get access to all sorts of Borg ingenuity. There may but have been a line about Seven unlocking more torpedoes but they had lines about making literally everything else lol

Also remember those older sites had stinker bottle episodes along with the award winning great ones. But we can always just skip them, unlike now where everything (except SNW) is a serialized story where no episodes can be shipped without missing details on the overall story. Some characters talk for one scene and it's like 1/3 of their entire screentime on the show.
