this one's a girl, you can tell because the chin is the same color as the body. Also because she's like 2x the size of all the boy frogs I caught.

Mr. Toad has been living in my back yard for around 7 years. I see him close to daily all summer. He keeps the spiders and and other bugs down under my house. He's a really good friend.
When it gets too hot he goes for a swim in the koi pond.

That looks like a cane toad.
In Australia they're a massive invasive species. Maybe invasive is the wrong word, since they were introduced to eat the cane beatle. Decided that was to much effort and just terrorise everything else.
When I was a kid they were 3000kms away now they're in my town and on the march too Western Australia

I believe he is a western toad. They are quite common in this area and have a very broad range of habitats they survive in.
