As a complete amateur who's had a few DSLRs and still knows very little, I think the concert lighting is a cool effect and really creates a vibe. It's photos like this that made me want to go to live shows when I was younger because they looked so much cooler than my life.
These shots could have easily been in a Spin magazine article on the band in the late 90s/early 00s.
As a few have already said in here, President Camacho saw a problem and actively tried to find the smartest person on the planet to fix the problem.
We're a couple of years past comparing our current situation to Idiocracy. That ship has already sailed. We're so fucked that the basic premise of Idiocracy appears quaint at this point.
"Haha people got stupider" is so much better than "people got stupider and are filled with hate, malice, greed, and selfishness"
I have a very professional job. I could of I wanted to absolutely pour my entire life essence into this job and I would probably make more money than I make now and be more professionally successful.
But in reality, my career is and will always be a way to support me and my family. Bottom line.
You should absolutely be looking for a job and a career that gives you balance, wherever that balance may be for you personally.
Honestly I have never heard anyone give the advice in that post anyway...
I'm not anti-cycling. It's just not the right solution for every city. It's just reality. Public transportation in those cities would be a better investment.
Yeah in order for this to work we'd all have to move to someplace with a climate where biking is nice.
I don't live there. It's hot here. When I go outside I can feel drops of sweat rolling down the small of my back down my spine and directly into my buttcrack. 15 minutes on a bicycle and I would need a shower. It's not a viable form of transportation here. It's just not.
Also, the Netherlanders won't let me move there unless I have a lot of money already.

The Onion doesn't usually miss and I don't know of it's just that this is from 23 years ago, but this one kinda falls flat.
What the fuck? That's not how that works.
Facing calls
HO-LEE SHIT. Fuckin' torched?!?!? That's a whole new level. I'll bet that they'll see the error of their ways now!

I prefer "work to live, not live to work".

A Leisure Suit Larry numbering prank reference in the wild! Niiice...
There is no answer here other than Half-Life fucking 3.
If there were any way to legally force a game to be made, it would be HL3.
Well now I'm starting my day in existential dread. Neat!
