This pic reminds me of a patient I was positioning for surgery. I walk into the OR and she's covered in tattoos. I walk up and say "Cool! Let's see what she's got". I don't immediately pick out any one tattoo, but I notice her eyelids have the words, "Hard Whyte". Hmm I wonder what that means... Then I see the stripper stars on her hips... Oh wait those are swastikas... Sigh...
I worked with a girl many years ago who was about 22 years old at the time. We worked a job where employees come and go all the time. She did not look very youthful, but she was very self aware. One of her favorite things to do was ask new hires how old they thought she was. Most people guessed late 30s to mid 40s and were mortified when she told then she was in her early 20s, but she always got a kick out of it.
I had a similar thing happen. When I was a teenager I went with my girlfriend at the time and her family to her grandparent's house for dinner. They were still cooking so we went to a spare room to lay down and watch a movie. We had to keep the door open but we were horny as fuck and started going at it under the covers. Eventually her dad walked in and told us dinner was ready while I was ball deep. Thought I was going to die that day.
I recently reread Eragon and Eldest which I loved as a kid. I thought it was so cool to flip to the back of the book to read elf and drawf translations. This time I found it gimmicky and annoying lol
I used to think this way. But I wouldn't ever consider it anyone's fault for being robbed or attacked because they were too weak or unprotected. Then why did I blame people for not being the smartest in a social interaction? Scammers are often times trickier than people like to think. It's hardly ever "just send me your money".
I just got the show but haven't watched it yet. There are some YouTube videos of his that predate the television series that I have seen though. I think it was a 4 part series where he goes to the Amazon to search for a frog that makes him trip out.
Nice I haven't done that one! Haven't even touched blender in years, but I've gone through like 3 of his donut tutorials over the past decade or so. They're really fun and show off how impressive the program is.
I'm happily in camp fuck the police but I think she just wanted it to be known she didnt blame the police for simply responding to the calls. Of course it's a low bar to applaud them for not escalating, but it doesn't feel right to call her a bootlicker.
I did this too in the mid 2000s before most kids had a cell phone. There was no way to contact my parents or for them to contact me for hours at a time. I would even be out by myself all day. I know people today who are afraid to let their kids do that because of how dangerous it is, but they're kids have smartphones with gps location tracking on it. They somehow think it's more dangerous for kids today.
I read the series last year, the second and third books are definitely better written. I read one other if his books, "Elantris" which is my favorite of the four.
The third clip is from a Publix grocery store. I used to work in a Publix deli and I would fill up a shopping cart like that with food to be thrown away daily. That's just one location from one company. There is absolutely plenty of food for everyone on this planet.

My mom then: don't put any personal information on the internet!
My mom now: I just need to put my social security, credit card info, and full street address and I can see which Seinfeld character I'm most like!
Most people don't know they are rentals

Nazis are kinda like the police in Wolfenstein, plus there are only arguments for shooting them.

Wow 9 years ago! I remember reading that day of.
I got curious if the widower is still active on reddit and saw they made a post on r/widowers about their late wife only a couple months ago :(
Some companies like Hulu only show people ads that pay for them

Are you suggesting that games that don't provide difficulty settings violate the ADA?
