I respect the few YouTube folks out there that write a blog post (on their own website!) for each video. The text based web has always been the ultimate reference.
While Youtube is not ideal, the web has been serving slop long before AI came around due to search engine optimization. No one trusts anything they find there and it also has the same issue with dancing around the topic.
Of course Youtube is now getting filled with AI crap as well so I don’t know where to go next…

I can understand a subscription if it is directly related with the running cost of the service. But if it has no running cost for the manufacturer (e.g. you buy printer ink) it should not need a subscription to function.

I wish films could have gay characters without people considering it "political". The only reason the existence of gay people is "political" is because someone thinks they shouldn't have rights. Gay relationships in film should just be a normal, unremarkable, thing the same as heterosexual romance
Remaking a movie or retelling a story or changing a political event or casting an unbelievable caste just because it fits today's politically correct views.
This thing happened so stop pretending it didn't or your historical piece is now fantasy or now it's completely unbelievable.
Stop remaking movies and changing the tone or message. Here's a novel idea for you film makers, you can make a new movie with a similar plot but with a different name, now we won't be going in with raised expectations.

So much historical plots make no sense if you assume they had social safety nets, clean water, workers rights, access to global markets, concept of universal human rights, on demand light and heating, largely managed forests, and don't get me started on language barriers!

Same here. I personally can't stand Bill Burr, regardless of how many of my friends tell me he's funny. With an f-word in nearly every sentence, I can't listen to him for more than a minute.
How about people who complain about every single thing. Movie trailer doesn't give much information? "Well, how can I know if I wanna see it if I don't know anything about it?" Movie trailer gives a lot of information? "What's the point in seeing it now that the trailer gave away the whole plot?"
Are you suggesting that drunks and weed smokers are responsible for 24/7 convenience stores shutting down or something, or just that they're annoying to be around?

Also, sometimes you just have to do things in a non-pythonic way. PEP 8 literally says that a foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, which the pythonic nuts should hold as gospel.

Drunks and stoners make up a ton of the after hours sales, though. They would be helping keep it open 24/7.
The reason a store stops operating overnight is if there's not enough income to cover operating costs.
