This police state surveillance apparatus is really quite embarrassing if they have to appeal to the public instead of using the very thing designed for total surveillance that was involved in the incident.
They only have to appeal to the public to provide cover for what they can really do. They'll just search men in the area whose phones weren't being used or moved during this incident (assuming the guy was smart enough to not bring his phone with him, who knows) and filter by men who make anti-surveillance posts on social media and match the limited physical description available here. Probably wouldn't be more than a few hits that match.
That guy fumbled hard by wearing distinctive clothing, which can potentially be recovered by law enforcement and presented as evidence in a trial. I hope any future Flock vandals reading this do the same thing so they get caught.
Can confirm, that's Ben Dog alright. In fact I overheard him and Kariv Levin at Coachella talking about how much they both hate Flock cameras. I remember Netanyahu laughed and said, "Dude they're totally easy to fuck up!"
I guess I'm going to die beating this dead horse, but Flock cameras are just regular video security cameras and feed back to a cloud AI platform. If you go to their homepage right this minute you will see that not one single example of their camera views shows a license plate read, but several do show the platform identifying people instead.
EDIT: I think I am giving the wrong impression. These are domestic surveillance tools and it's my belief these should be considered unconstitutional. I'm merely stating that these are not ONLY license plate readers (LPR's), they are full cameras.
Are not the number plate IDs just a stepping stone to tracking people? So apart from letting us know how correct you are, who cares? This is mass surveillance. We are aware. It’s why we’re in this group.

Yes. These can read license plates and identify people. They are mass surveillance devices and store their data in a massive centralized system.
