Excuse me, sir or madam or something else...we explicitly rented this escape room for several days. Why are you telling us to "get a room?" We paid good money for this experience. GUARDS! ESCORT THE INTRUDER FROM THIS GARLIC BED!!!
There was a joke years ago about Ben and Jerry's making chocolate-covered garlic ice cream called Boutros Boutros-Garlic. I don't think anyone would get that now (in either sense of "get").
Ever have just roasted garlic? With some nice oil? 100% garlic is dang fine, if they make a super garlic I will still assume you can't get enough of it.
Every time I'm following a recepe, when I see how much garlic, I'm offended as it should bee at least 3 times as much. And I'm not even from a Mediterranean country.

Easy fix.
Sleep on juicy steaks, eat salt-water on the daily.

lobster too buttery

Perhaps they meant too little garlic? You can always add more. Think you added enough? Think again
ashenone@lemmy.ml · 24 pts · 3d
I never trust a recipe that has you add only one clove of garlic, even if that recipe is how to cook one clove of garlic
Siethron@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 2d
You got to add garlic powder to the clove
panda_abyss@lemmy.ca · 15 pts · 3d
I cooked for my in laws and they said I used enough garlic, you could tell because everyone still had garlic breath the next morning.

....please tell me that you all sleep in the same bed like 'Charlie The Chocolates' elderly family.
Wait... ^whisper ^it ^to ^me
panda_abyss@lemmy.ca · 6 pts · 3d
Yes
whispers: we all slept in the same bed, half head to feet, as that allows the most adults to fit in one bed.

If it's ever "too much garlic" (which isn't a real thing) you can always add more of the other "food"
Rawrosaurus@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 4 pts · 3d
I once went to a restaurant where every item on the menu contained garlic in some capacity.
Ioughttamow@fedia.io · 2 pts · 3d
I haven’t had nor seen garlic ice cream, but did have some with mustard. It was pretty good

Black garlic is the next step in your evolution.
FluidBeef@quokk.au · 12 pts · 3d
I agree there’s basically no such thing. Always at least double the cloves the recipe specifies.
ChickenLadyLovesLife@lemmy.world · 7 pts · 3d
Since I'm usually just cooking for myself now, I halve the recipe but double the cloves. And sometimes change "cloves" to "heads".

Yeahhhh pears and apples and stonefruits too here. It also happened suddenly, when I was 34 (4 years ago).
Still plenty of delicious food though, and you're not alone <3

Oh yeah, I hit 35 and one day apples were just spicy
I eat lots of nice food, but I'm tired of having to check what's in everything

The only time I've said, "fuck, too much garlic," was the first time I found out that allicin causes burns.

18 cloves of garlic a day keeps Dr Acula away.
Probably most people too, but that's just a bonus!

"Too much garlic" is vampire propaganda.
