The stereotypical caricature came from somewhere in reality, and my bet is that eating all you want has always been a staple of people in a pretty good position in life.
This is also observed in Korea: in North Korean culture dear leader is always round, signalling abundance, while the opposite is true in the South, where food is actually abundant.
Size tends too, and the stats on leaders and CEO heights kinda shows it.
But a few of these people just look like gluttons. Maybe too much time in front of a screen or just too much of the wrong kinds of food. Probably both.
In 30-50 years we will maybe say this about stunted emotional development due to endocrine disruption from microplastics, or maybe social-behavioral disruption thanks to dopamine gaming from social media especially for youth, constant digital stimulation, pfas, ultra fine air particulate pollution, or whatever.
The point is the harm is happening still but we don’t care because much like when tobacco was becoming clear as a public health crisis. Or using your example like how it was fairly clear leaded gas had neurotoxic effects in like the 1920s almost immediately after they started using it because it kept destroying the brains of the gas factory workers, then they spent like 30 years studying it and basically finding atmospheric lead pollution increases as well as blood level concentration increases from engine exhaust.
But in both cases regulators drug their feet for decades while people literally died because god forbid they harm profits of companies to protect the public health and safety. We have some very clear ideas of what needs to be acted on now but we don’t because god forbid google be valued at 2.7 trillion dollars instead of 2.98 trillion

Seeing a group of people like this, who all have basically the same body build and fitness level... like yes, the stocky endomorph build is stereotypically associated with Midwesterners, and I do notice somewhat more of people who look lile this here versus where I'm from, other places I've spent a good deal of time in.
But walking into any random public space and seeing this group of 5 people would still be very fucking odd, unless maybe they were all over 55 years old.
This would be a weird note in mental log of my day, a notably uncommon thing to encounter, with them all being under 35, and thats with me having been living in the Midwest now for 2+ years.
Y'all, we're eagerly waiting for the president to die. Please can we not pin the hopes of this country on the eventual deaths of 25 to 35-year-olds? Can we do something a little more proactive please?

As a fellow european trying to lose weight, I promise it is possible to gain weight from european foods. It's just a matter of portion sizes, and loving food enough.
The men look like they expected to gain even more weight (and height in one case) and ordered their suits a size larger. Actually scratch that, they aren't buttoned so hard to tell. Maybe suits just don't look good on fat people, I haven't given this much consideration until now.

Not fat shaming them myself. It has been my observation that those lacking confidence often belittle others to make themselves feel better. You see the same with bullying. Of course lack of education and no exposure to other cultures and people are involved.

These cunts are all wealthy. They can afford the best food, and exercise equipment. There's nothing wrong with mocking lazy fat cunts who exist that way through choice.
