I love how he tossed t-mobile in there. "...my aunt Gladys, the guy who parks too close to my driveway, that kid who rides his bike on the sidewalk, the King of Spain, Papa Johns..."

Where’s that person to spam the picture when you need them?

Just say their name three times.

Hazmatastic@lemmy.world · 9 pts · 322d

Not them but

In his 26-page complaint, he has claimed that an elite group has launched a conspiracy to violate the Constitution. The entire complaint, which is more akin to a manifesto than a formal legal document, is presented in a single paragraph.

Just let that sink in.

andrewta@lemmy.world · 33 pts · 323d

26 pages in a single paragraph: perfect way to piss off my old English teacher

SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca · 20 pts · 322d

Paragraphs are woke.

drunkpostdisaster@lemmy.world · 7 pts · 322d

Glorious.

nova_ad_vitum@lemmy.ca · 2 pts · 321d

Small potatoes in this pile of insanity but I don't think "conspiracy to violate the constitution" is a valid cause of action so I'm guessing this will be summarily dismissed? Lol

Quill7513@slrpnk.net · 68 pts · 323d (4 replies)

y'all, i'm starting to think this guy might be a real weirdo

ReverendIrreverence@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 322d (2 replies)

"starting...?"

Cocodapuf@lemmy.world · 7 pts · 322d

That's the joke! Good job spotting it!

Quill7513@slrpnk.net · 2 pts · 322d

if you can't trust a seditious guy violating the flag code wearing a buffalo hide who goes on hunger strike because prison isn't fun to file a normal sensible lawsuit, where do you go?

SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca · 3 pts · 321d

Top tip: if your doctor enters the exam room with face paint and buffalo horns, get a second opinion.

"QAnon shaman sues Trump for $40 trillion and targets Musk, T-Mobile and Warner Bros in rambling lawsuit"

Don't change the title

massive_bereavement@fedia.io · 3 pts · 322d

It sounds out of a pulp 80s sci-fi novel.

y0kai@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 34 pts · 323d (12 replies)

So wait did he actually find a lawyer to represent this fantasy?

ETA: And does he have an actual legal grounds for a suit?

I'm starting to think the guy that dressed up like a shaman and participated in the insurrection attempt might have a screw loose.

mmcintyre@lemmy.world · 11 pts · 323d (2 replies)

More like, dressed up and called himself a shaman. I don't know any shaman that dresses like that. Then again, I also don't know any shamans..

WanakaTree@lemmy.zip · 11 pts · 322d (1 reply)

I do know a shaman. She does not dress like that

BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today · 3 pts · 322d

Well, she's missing out. Not too many occupations expect you to wear a seriously wicked get up like that!

tal@olio.cafe · 10 pts · 323d

He’s either a fucking moron or trying to drum up publicity for something.

Not necessarily mutually-exclusive possibilities, I would note.

one-ounce gold coin, valued at $40 trillion

Trump was claiming that the reason that he wanted to stop minting the penny was because the metal was worth more than the value of the penny (while true, that's not where the real cost of the penny comes from; it's rather from the handling and processing costs). I assume that that was to pander to someone, so I'm wondering if maybe there's a segment of the MAGA crowd that's obsessed with the metal value versus face value of coins.

AbidanYre@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 323d (1 reply)

he wanted to stop minting the penny

Whatever happened with that?

tal@olio.cafe · 4 pts · 323d

kagis

Looks like it's going forward. 2026 should be the last year that the US mints the penny.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penny_(United_States_coin)

In 2025, the U.S. Mint announced a plan to end penny production after the 2026 production run.

BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today · 2 pts · 322d

The hilarious thing is that these MAGA geniuses think that it costs 3.5 cents every time we use a penny, and that is obviously a bad deal, and Libz are too stupid and deliberately wasteful to understand that.

The MAGA Economists haven't figured out that it may cost 3.5 cents to manufacture it, but then it gets used millions of times, so the cost is amortized over those millions of uses, not just one.

The thing that will ultimately save us is MAGA's virtuosic incompetence.

rumba@lemmy.zip · 2 pts · 323d

Why not both

givesomefucks@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 323d

In the first articles he was representing himself...

Not sure if he got a lawyer yet or not.

Formfiller@lemmy.world · 32 pts · 323d (3 replies)

MAGA is fracturing and turning on itself. Some of them are waking up to the con of pedo Don

thefluffiest@feddit.nl · 17 pts · 323d (1 reply)

Are you calling them… woke!?

Fedizen@lemmy.world · 9 pts · 322d

No, they're not cool, they've just stopped sleeping.

GrammarPolice@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 323d

They're a QAnon user. This isn't a real own if you ask me

Stalinwolf@lemmy.ca · 32 pts · 322d

Well, I honestly can't say that's any more delusional than claiming to be a spiritually attuned being who answers the war cries of the Republican party. I've never seen a shaman more in need of a mushroom trip.

Onsotumenh@discuss.tchncs.de · 13 pts · 323d (3 replies)

Is it just me or did the ammounts Americans sue each other for rise an order of magnitude in the last few years?

Chivera@lemmy.world · 12 pts · 323d (3 replies)

You know what let's do it. Give him 40 trillion. Just end it already.

Mouselemming@sh.itjust.works · 11 pts · 323d (2 replies)

No give him $40 trillion of Trump's personal money. Heck, pull it back to $40 million, that's probably about what Trump has grifted off the Presidency.

PattyMcB@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 323d

He will never have $40 trillion, and he's got WAY more than $40 million.

This reminds me of Austin Powers when Dr. Evil demands one billion dollars in the past, and one million in the present.

BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today · 2 pts · 322d

Oh, he's grifted WAY more than that. He entered the presidency in 2016 DEEP in the hole, and emerged in 2020 as a billionaire.

A few weeks back, I read how Trump's personal businesses has profited well into the billions in just this current term alone.

40 Million? Those are amateur numbers, Trump is aiming for GOAT status among grifters.

TrickDacy@lemmy.world · 11 pts · 323d

Lol there is no ceiling for stupid

ayyy@sh.itjust.works · 11 pts · 322d

I’ll sue ya, I’ll take all you’re money, I’ll sue ya, if you even look at me funny!

HubertManne@piefed.social · 10 pts · 322d

I mean I don't want this guy being the new musk but...

SocialMediaRefugee@lemmy.world · 9 pts · 322d

That is going to make a LOT of lawyers' boat payments!

Steve@startrek.website · 9 pts · 323d (2 replies)

I understand that the playbook focuses around a strategy that involves throwing as many wacky things at us dumdums as possible so that we lose focus, become jaded, and spread resources so thin that we can't fully act against any single outrageous thing...

...but come on people. Is this what it takes to be truly evil? Because it sounds exhausting.

So, where are we now? We've gone from chunking spaghetti to distract from the files to reverse Uno using the files to distract from gaining full control of the military so that it would no longer matter what's in the files?
