(In the meantime, Reagan was gutting all the policies that were used to keep wealth distributed and preserve a strong middle class.) So this is something that anyone who took a basic college course should know.
In time, I got confused that presidents and legislators kept pushing supply side (trickle-down) economics and kept passing laws that allowed the upper class to keep more of their money, while leaving the lower and middle classes to languish, when I was certain these officials were educated (or had experts who were) and should know better. Then I worked out that they are just captured and corrupt AF.
Money (power) corrupts and people with lots of money rarely want to part with it. Also, money protects money, so the rich often deal in the shadows to protect themselves from us.

Hell be free, then run for office and I'll campaign the hell out of that, vote Luigi for senate, then president of the. US.
A not-yet-convicted murderer. But because he's handsome and killed an executive, we like him without any hint of moral irony. Even when he's himself old money.
People were happy about the killing of Brian Thompson the moment that news of his death spread. A health insurance CEO. A man who systematically denied healthcare to thousands of people, almost certainly leading to some of them dying.
You can say that murder is wrong, and be correct in that. But then surely being instrumental in running a system of denying and delaying people's access to medical treatment leading to their death is so much worse that directly killing one person.
I still believe he's a look-alike scapegoat because they never found the actual guy who did it, but yeah go off I guess. Not like the CEO was responsible for millions of deaths himself but because it's a 'business' he gets to be called an entrepreneur instead :)

Even if he'd done it (which he didn't), it wouldn't be murder, he should be given a public commendation, not a jail sentence.
