The US helped to found and popularize the Nazi party. Ford and other industrialist literally bank rolled the Nazi empire. Ford built factories in Germany and let them keep the profits. Nazism was very popular in the US because its policies were based off US policies.
Hitler was inspired by the way the US genocided the Native Americans. This is where the Holocaust came from. When Hitler initially decided to expel the Jews wealthy industrialists lobbied the US government not to take them in. They helped stroke anti-Jewish sentiment in Europe and ensured that no other country would take them in.
This lead to the final solution. IBM and other US companies gave material support to the Nazi. Those numbers tattooed on Jewish prisoners were from a census system IBM developed. Later, they used their computing power to figure out how many jews to ship from the ghettos to the death camps without backing anything up. Basically they handled the logistics of the Holocaust.

Half of white medical trainees believe such myths as black people have thicker skin or less sensitive nerve endings than white people. An expert looks at how false notions and hidden biases fuel inadequate treatment of minorities’ pain.

There is much more than that. 9/11 is not even on this list and that was a huge wake up call for millions of people. Many millions distrusted the official covid story as well, the origins of the virus.
And the current war in iran is obviously not to prevent nuclear weapons. The strait of Hormuz is not going to open for many years. Because its intended and is part of a plan for how the worlds most important resources, like oil and fertilizer, is going to be limited in order to create massive problems in the world.
The YouTube Predictive History channel is talking about all of this, and the video Trump World Order is a must watch.
Lacks was the unwitting source of these cells from a tumor biopsied during her treatment for cervical cancer at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1951. These cells were then cultured by George Otto Gey, who created the cell line known as HeLa, which is still used for medical research.[9] As was then the practice, no consent was required to culture the cells obtained from Lacks's treatment. Neither she nor her family were compensated for the extraction or use of the HeLa cells.
That's such a tricky one because unlike the other examples, this has benefited humanity. There's no going back on it and until other cell lines are more common, we can't really discontinue using the HeLa cells.
At the very least though, that whole family shouldn't have to work a day in their lives from all the profits the private pharmaceutical have generated from it. If I was a part of that family, I'd demand a full ride scholarship from Johns Hopkins.
Her family fought a massive lawsuit about it, too. They didn't find out their mother's cancer was fueling genetic research until years after she passed away.

Jesse Waters removes this, his own segment, from his own social media.
Gabbard's PR person says basically 'no, a raid did not happen on that day, but about a year earlier, the CIA did confiscate some documents from the DNI, and they still have them.'
... at least that is my current attempt to comprehend this.
So uh... the DNI is supposed to be in charge of the CIA.
But, if you know anything about the CIA... they do whatever the fuck they want, to whoever they want.
There is only a single example of someone ostensibly directly in charge of the CIA that actually attempted to reign in the CIA and hold it accountable, make it stop doing things it wanted to do.
His brain got painted all over Dealey Plaza, in 1963.
EDIT:
Another thing that I am... confused, currently, by:
How is it possible that... there exist any MKUltra documents... that could be declassified?
In the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, in 1977, then CIA Director Stansfield Turner, explained that in 1973, the CIA Director at that time Dick Helms... ordered all the MKUltra documents to be destroyed.
But, approximately 20,000 documents were missed by this desctruction order, mostly financial and accounting documents, still remaining in basically a forgotten annex in DC.
To the best of my knowledge... those 20,000 documents are what comprise essentially the corpus of what has been discussed since 1977, they're what's been poured through to figure out who was getting paid to do what kind of work at which kind of site in whatever location, with what kinds of equipment, etc.
So... did... did we just miss some of those, somehow?
Or... did Turner lie to the Senate in '77... and... there were at that time, and still existing to the present currently... more documents than those which survived this supposed destruction order under Helms?
Like genuinely, I am misunderstanding something here, or is that not the implication of 'there do in fact exist any potentially unclassifiable MKUltra documents'?
Turner lied and parts of the program kept going. I'm wonder what's going on with that one UFO guy who was trying to get a SCIF to talk to lawmakers. Subject gets dropped like a rock any time someone picks it up.
Well at least Operation Northwoods never happened. It was just a draft and Kennedy refused to sign it into action. Don't get me wrong, it is pretty fucked up that it came that far, but at least it never went into action.
Ron Funches' routine was great. "You don't believe any conspiracy theories? Like, you just believe the government is batting 1.000 in terms of telling the truth?"
Don't get it right too soon or people will call you a conspiracy theorist.
Remember, we don't do that stuff anymore, it's totally crazy to suggest that's even a possibility. Wait 20 years, it'll come out that we did, in fact, still do that stuff - but only back then. But by then we'll have stopped and it'll be totally crazy to suggest that's even a possibility. Until you wait another 20 years.
No, we know the US government is stalking us more from the Snowden leaks than what's listed here.
But also, "absurd but promising ideas" is whitewashing this stuff to a truly ridiculous degree. This stuff wasn't like, "We think psychic powers might exist so we'll test if people can tell what card I'm holding." We're talking about intentionally infecting black men with syphilis to use as guinea pigs. Was that "an absurd but promising idea?"
How about Donald Ewen Cameron, who was paid by the CIA to pose as a legitimate doctor and abduct Canadian citizens who came in with everyday symptoms like headaches, and he'd put them in months-long comas and electrocute them and inject LSD and do God knows what else to them because he burned his research notes?
That's only the tip of the iceberg. You might as well say that Josef Mengele just let his curiosity get a little bit out of hand.
The meme doesnt specify a country, just says "the government". So, to mock the US defaultism, I acted like it is obviously talking about my government, as Americans tend to do too
because you are complaining a lot about the elected governments instead of "I got money, imma do whatever lolz" corporations, which are the ones that are explicitly made to actually fuck you over every step of the way.

I’m actually quite curious how the next false flag will be received
Objection@lemmy.ml · 13 pts · 95d
Don't get it right too soon or people will call you a conspiracy theorist.
Remember, we don't do that stuff anymore, it's totally crazy to suggest that's even a possibility. Wait 20 years, it'll come out that we did, in fact, still do that stuff - but only back then. But by then we'll have stopped and it'll be totally crazy to suggest that's even a possibility. Until you wait another 20 years.

Yeah that line on the CIAs website about how "this is no longer the views of the agency" or however they word it exactly cracks me up every time.

If it's anything like the latest assassination "attempt" at Trump, with great skepticism.

USdefaultism!
literally USdefaultism
YOUR* goverment
Return_of_Chippy@lemmy.world · 14 pts · 95d
Ah yes the US is the only country that has a current or past track record with shady shit.
A_Chilean_Cyborg@feddit.cl · 2 pts · 95d
sure not the only one, but like, goverments usually try to have kids not die of malnutrition or whatever.

Just because absurd but promising ideas were tried when they maybe shouldn't have does not mean the government is stalkingyou.
Objection@lemmy.ml · 5 pts · 95d
Gladaed@feddit.org · -1 pts · 95d
Mk ultra sounds pretty smart. And it is. If stimulants could reduce your risk of death would you not use them?
Some medical experiments of the past don't hold up to modern scrutiny and also were abhorrent at the time.
But the government is not stalking you personally. There is no van of cops following you at all times.

I have no idea how these sentences are connected.
No one said there was?
Return_of_Chippy@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 95d
Who said that?
Zwiebel@feddit.org · -4 pts · 95d
Huh? What does foreign countries' fucked up shit have to do with the government?
Objection@lemmy.ml · 8 pts · 95d
Saying this from a German instance is certainly a choice.

I don't understand the question

The meme doesnt specify a country, just says "the government". So, to mock the US defaultism, I acted like it is obviously talking about my government, as Americans tend to do too

Bait quality has not improved.
Return_of_Chippy@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 95d
Why
Skullgrid@lemmy.world · -3 pts · 95d
because you are complaining a lot about the elected governments instead of "I got money, imma do whatever lolz" corporations, which are the ones that are explicitly made to actually fuck you over every step of the way.
