We all just gonna ignore "corn bone" then?

ITGuyLevi@programming.dev · 24 pts · 22d

That's the only reason I opened the comments... To be fair though, I think I'm gonna adopt that term.

Omega_Jimes@lemmy.ca · 18 pts · 22d (1 reply)

The strangest part is that they said "corn on the cob" before corn bone. What do they think the cob is?

Jax@sh.itjust.works · 6 pts · 22d

Corn bone

FishFace@piefed.social · 15 pts · 22d

Corn bone goes in corn hole?

IrateAnteater@sh.itjust.works · 7 pts · 22d (1 reply)

I'm 90% sure I've seen a corn bone video.

Thassodar@sh.itjust.works · 3 pts · 22d

ChicoSuave@lemmy.world · 10 pts · 22d (5 replies)

With extra steps

Broadfern@lemmy.world · 15 pts · 22d (4 replies)

Technically less steps since the corn is unprocessed

Sasquatch@lemmy.ml · 9 pts · 22d

Whole grain corn dog

Viking_Hippie@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 6 pts · 22d (2 replies)

Removing the core and replacing it is very much a process 😄

Nouvellalia@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 22d (1 reply)

So is growing the corn and picking the corn and cooking the corn and buttering the corn and🤓

finalarbiter@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 25 pts · 22d

An elote dog would probably kick ass

charokol@lemmy.zip · 24 pts · 22d (2 replies)

“What is the word for the thing inside corn on the cob? Huh, it’s impossible to know. Guess I’ll go with corn bone“

ms_lane@lemmy.world · 30 pts · 22d (1 reply)

cob = corn on bone

BigBrainBrett2517@lemmy.world · 7 pts · 22d

"Corn on the cob" = "Corn on the corn on bone"

"Oh yeah, it's all coming together." -Kronk

Dookieman12@piefed.social · 19 pts · 22d

Don't you mean "corn on the dog"?

"Assistant to disillusion."

PattyMcB@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 21d

Does that count as Losing Your Illusion?

Salamanderwizard@lemmy.world · 12 pts · 22d (3 replies)

My partner is yelling at me that Jenna Marbles did this first.

She said she's not yelling. She is just talking with a firm and direct voice.

masuhiro@lemmy.world · 7 pts · 22d

Tell your partner thank you for me and that while she may not be yelling, it would absolutely be deserved. We've made it all the way back oaround

DrSoap@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 21d (1 reply)

I WAS LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO SAY JENNA MARBLES... in a firm and direct voice!!

Salamanderwizard@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 21d

She said she has never felt so welcomed on the internet before.

Corn on the Hog?

swade2569@lemmy.world · 8 pts · 22d

The ratio of comments referring to corn bone are beginning to make me question my awareness of the world around me.

Are more of you aware of this term? Have I missed out on over a potential 30+ years of hilarity and innuendo?

Maybe I’ll stay in bed today.

ceenote@lemmy.world · 7 pts · 22d (2 replies)

Okay, how...?

Dookieman12@piefed.social · 2 pts · 22d (1 reply)

Photoshop

PattyMcB@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 21d

Seen a few in your time, have you?

Tempus_Fugit@lemmy.world · 7 pts · 22d (3 replies)

So a corn dog with less steps?

blargh513@sh.itjust.works · 8 pts · 22d

I don't know about fewer steps. How does one remove the bone from the corn without the corn falling apart now lacking the structural support the bone provided?

Boneless corn don't just grow in a field you know.

TheSporcerer@lemmy.zip · 4 pts · 22d

While somehow having simultaneously less steps…

emeralddawn45@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 2 pts · 21d

And ironically, more corn.

What about an actual corndog?

PattyMcB@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 21d

Yes, but who boned the corn in the first place? Jesus... get your weiner out of that corn, OP!

BoosBeau@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 22d

You don't eat the corn bone?

anon_8675309@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 22d (1 reply)

So a corn dog?

techfox@sh.itjust.works · 2 pts · 22d

The only way this could be more literally a corn dog, is if it was a Dachshund coated in corn.

man_wtfhappenedtoyou@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 21d

Damn this is some next level shit. I bet that hot dog goes flying out like a middle when you try to bite into it.
