I'm an LMDE user which is a sliver more advanced, but not by much. The song might even fit better. I can point at and name parts of the system and maybe even work with them, but most of the time someone else is looking after me.
They have had their Store for over 10 years now. I envy you if you haven't had to deal with Windows for so long. It's not even user-friendly anymore, it just hates it's users and constantly tries to scam you with ads and pop-ups
