I have been thinking about this and I don't know if he even needs funding. He just tells construction companies to do things without a worry about a budget and if the money never comes they can probably sue for damages anyway.

Camacho was a GREAT President. Actually paid attention to the fact that his people were starving / running out of burrito coverings, found someone smarter than him to fix a problem he didn't understand, and gave that person the authority to implement a solution without micromanaging.
But there's the other side of it too, that usually get ignored.
Camacho also showed that when someone jerks him around and wrecks the world economy, he will happily send them for 'rehabilitation'. I think there's a lot of people in our government and business world that could use some 'rehabilitation'.
I would even go as far as to say he was the ideal president. He brought in experts and let them do their thing and had the charisma to keep his nation together and inspire people.
To be fair Trump did the same thing. Only that for some reason he thought Musk was the smartest man alive and fixing things means something entirely different in Trumps world.
Idiocy would make for a utopia compared to what we're stuck with, which is malice. The future we're building is much darker than the one depicted in Idiocracy.
Once they recognize that there is are problems and then find the smartest people in the world to solve them, we can compare it to Idiocracy. So far they've done the opposite - made problems worse, create new problems, and got rid of the smart people trying to work on it.
Give it time. The events of Idiocracy didn't take place until the year 2500 or whatever. We still got a few years left before we get to the problem solving portion of the movie.

That's a lot of eugenics bullshit truthfully. We've not found a genetic component for conservatism and anyone on the left or authoritarians to libertarian idealists. We have found some potential brain markers that one side has more than the other but this could be more likely of environment. If you're brought up to be afraid all the time you'll have a greater sense of fear overall situation which affects development. There have been studies that show lower empathy scores and higher activity in fear response sectors of the brain show a greater trend toward conservatism. Again though, these are not 100% either. It's a trend at best, not a scientific fact.
Seems reasonable to me that since the brain is very complex and genes that affect structure and development would give some individuals advantages or disadvantages. I mean if early childhood nutrition can influence intellectual ability, genetic factors playing a role isnt that ridiculous.

Eh not really how it works. That merger is very recent. In the rest of the history of the company they were heavily at odds with the WWE. At the end ot the day they both sell "matches" though. The major difference being the WWE sells athletic theater and the UFC sells competitive fights. So the marketing being similar but the product is different. Both companies have been ruthless in talent/competition/territory acquisition for their entire lifespan.

In order to gain the benefits of society, it may be required to participate in it. Not doing that is how we got what we have today. And participating can be as simple as voting, spending money toward local businesses where you can, or participating in a local club to show support. But you don’t get the utopian society by everyone shelling away from everyone else. People are social creatures whether we want to be or not.
Society can afford some asocial people but not many/a majority. Any society with a growing number of people who can't handle socializing and being part of/contributing to the group, one way or another, will probably go extinct. I'm not saying you should care (I assume you don't), I'm just making an observation. 🤷

Like yes, there's stuff that's based on the modern world, that's how comedy works (it'd be weird to make a comedy that doesn't relate to modern day grievances etc) but it really seems like you're inserting a narrative here or willfully missing the point while claiming everyone else is misunderstanding it.

I'm not really sure how many people know or don't know what an octagon is, but it reads like some religios weirdos talking about video games or something. This "controller" is used for the demon to enter the body.

Current timeline: People know exactly what's wrong and are captured in a system spiraling to the bottom. The ruling elite does the wrong thing on purpose because of expected personal gains.

The entire point of Idiocracy wasn't that "society might become Idiocracy" it's that society is always Idiocracy
The thing the movie did was take a "common man" and throw him into a civilization where he is that intelligent compared to everyone else. Like Gullivers Travels, those lands existed before and after Gulliver went there, him going there was just to compare those fictional islands to a reference point the read can identify with.
But right now, for as long as human civilization has existed, and for however long we keep it going...
For some people it's always been Idiocracy. And there's literally nothing that can ever be done about that, except making the most intelligent members of a society less intelligent or not members of society
It's one of the most misunderstood movies and people just fucking love bringing it up.

I thought the moral of the story is that society goes to shit when people choose to "get out of the way" instead of "lead or follow."
Joe specifically reflects in the film: “I think maybe the world got like this because of people like me. I never did anything with my life."

In order to gain the benefits of society, it may be required to participate in it. Not doing that is how we got what we have today. And participating can be as simple as voting, spending money toward local businesses where you can, or participating in a local club to show support. But you don’t get the utopian society by everyone shelling away from everyone else. People are social creatures whether we want to be or not.

The comparison is these idiots watched it (or more likely clips of it) and being dumber than the characters in the movie they thought it was a great idea. And here we are.
You can examine and detail and write a library of essays about what the movie really means, but I'm here to tell you it doesn't matter because they can't and won't do any of those things. They are what it is at face value.

Like, some of the last lines are about how the lawyer (I like money!) had 32 kids compared to the 3 smartest children in the world by protagonist and Maya Rudolph.

In families with lots of intelligent people, there's also a lot of downsides. Its like Targaryens bro. Maybe you get someone really smart, maybe you get someone crazy, and if you're really unlucky you get a very intelligent mentally disturbed person.
Even for shit that's clearly inheritable, it's not that uncommon for one copy of a gene to be better than two.
Like, Judge is relatively intelligent himself, and he does his research. He flat out said he wrote the movie so people would assume theyre the ones that went extinct, and a reason to think that is knowing most people don't understand basic shit.
The movie was an attempt at getting people to understand his worldview, and I can tell you from experience it's a very difficult conversation that almost always just pisses people off.
Which is literally the same reason Gullivers Travels was written that way...
But at this point I don't think anyone actually read that book as a kid.

Once it got the source of "truth" from the web search (they scrape the first few results, meaning some black hat with SEO can let them believe anything), it's impossibile to let it change opinion

If you're going to put a word in quotes, you should at least learn to spell that word. It's "Octagon", not "Octogon".
